Indians are Law Abiding Citizens?

Indian constitution has designed laws and duties for every citizen of the country. These laws are made to be followed strictly to maintain a healthy living within the country. As a Good citizen of this country, we are required to follow all the laws and perform our assigned duties furnished by the government.

Whenever we see anything going wrong, we suddenly stand in front of it and want to impose the laws on it. For example, whenever we come across any issue about women being harrassed, most of the people come on roads and start protesting against it. We are in so much of anger that we use protests as the way of showing our anger and we want the strict implications of laws for the criminals.

But, what happens after a week or two, everything comes to normal, and we again consider inappropriate behaviour towards women a normal practice. Same can be seen with Voiceless animals. Recently we heard about Delhi's NGO case where NGO people were brutally attacked by the locals. The people from NGO were rescuing the local dogs. For some days we hear social media protesting against the inhuman behaviour, but, after the time, we are still not helping any of the voiceless.

People are just talking about laws for their personal benefits, but when it comes to them they do not follow it.

So, do we actually follow law, or we do it only when it is for others, what happens when the laws and duties comes to us? We often ignore them.
