Women Are Not Less Than Men

In India, as we all know the situation of women is not much great and in fact, it’s terrible in many rural areas. Especially in the states of north India.

Women's empowerment in India is a fervently discussed subject. There are numerous difficulties that are as of now tormenting the issues of women rights in India
Despite the fact that the country has advanced impressively, there is a wide discrimination between men and women in terms of education. Even today, many women, especially in rural areas are denied their right to be educated and that presents an ideal example of gender discrimination.

Regardless of all the obstacles, a new face emerges above all these cultural and traditional traps. That became the headline by their courageous and inspiring efforts, which shows women are not weak.

A school dropout, 30-year old, Ruma Devi from a small village of Rajasthan, Received the best designer of the year award by the Indian textile fair. Her courageous move and determined attitude. She showed the world that it doesn’t matter from where you belong, your thoughts, your vision can make everything happen. It’s a slap on those people's faces who think women can’t do anything, especially in rural areas.

India's culture and people’s mentality have been like that only, women have always been less prior than men. Women of India have faced male dominance. But the inspiring story of Ruma Devi is a lesson for all the women in India specially from rural areas that they do not need to see them that they do not have the ability as men do. They need to have faith in themselves and the courage to break the tradition that stops them to move ahead. It's the 21st century now, if still they will remain in a veil and keep their talent hidden from the world then they can loose many golden opportunities.

It's time to get up and show the world their real talent. It's time to tell the world that women are not made to do household works only they are capable to do much more.
The day India's women-population will start contributing to the country's economy, India will be on the top of the world.
