The Fashionista has set in new dimension to prêt, offering some of the finest deigns ever @ ‘Study By Janak’ (SBJ) Women’s Couture. “’Study By Janak’ grew five-folds during my tenure”. And, interestingly, the futuristic revelation of Vandy Mehra has won accolades for ‘Study By Janaak’ as the “Best Fashion House of 2011” and “Women’s Achievers Award” to name a few. Certainly, she is not only just a business Woman in her, but, she is a perfect home-maker and a solace to family as well. “My passion and dream all my life had been to work, further fuelled by my education and dress designing course” “My first (1st) milestone was achieved when I joined the family business with my husband Mr. Mannoj Mehra. I credit my success to him, who has not just been my soul mate, but also a supporter, and a mentor. “I am completely “incomplete” without his support in all that I do and handle ☺ ‘Study By Janak’”.

* You spearhead design line label | brand ‘SBJ’ Women’s Couture?




The brand is over three decades old however I have been actively-involved since 2013. I felt that brand is a first choice for Men bespoke outfits and we shall offer a line for the Women too. Thus I started the couture line keeping in mind types of Indian Women. I am glad that today ‘SBJ’ Women’s Wear expresses luxury in a contemporary, fresh and edgy way. The persona of our collection is comfortable, ahead of the curve and in-sync with beauty statement. It’s a mix of effortless, glamour and confidence.

* And over the period of years… how have You grown in the business of Fashion?






Well… Travel, Art, Music, have always been my source of inspiration. According to me, every Woman is a diva in her own right. A diva is someone who exudes great style with confidence. She is very comfortable with her skin and wears luxury and prêt in an effortless manner. As a brand, we are continuously evolving and defining and redefining the idea of evening glamour, holiday dressing and bridal wear. Today, brands known for luxe contemporary designs that showcase unique silhouettes drapes and details.


*In the near future… what do You do look ahead in life for?




Family and Work are two of my greatest passions. They keep me motivated and help me strive for perfection. I aim to design well and create a unique line available at many more stores. Sister Shivani teachings have also been a source of strength for me. It makes me introspect and be a better version of myself. I am looking forward to the future and feeling grateful for the past. I am thankful to all the people who have been part of my journey and I am ready for new challenges that await me.
