The Beauty Expert stands the most-successful Founder & Chairperson of her in-house creative Beauty brands – ‘Aroma Magic’ & ‘Blossom Kochhar College of Creative Arts & Design (BKCCAD) under ‘Blossom Kochhar Group of Companies’, wherein, onboard, she is assisted by dynamic Managing Director Ms. Samantha Kochhar in high spirits.

*How have you come a-fore with the business of Beauty over the period of years?
The business of Beauty in my view has come a long way. People are much aware regarding personal grooming and it has increased over the time. Everyone wants to look their best and have started to work towards it. People have adapted beauty regimes, improved eating habits and prefer healthy diets too. Another thing that has made a paradigm shift is the demand for skin-friendly and chemical-free beauty products. People want to go natural with their lifestyles and prefer naturally derived products.



 
*The whole idea of creating your own brand?
 I was born and brought up in the beautiful Nilgiri Hills and have been so close to nature that I decided to make it my lifestyle. I believe in the power of Nature and aromatherapy and feel that what we apply should be as healing and natural as what we eat. Hence I started with my own brand of all-natural beauty products. For ‘Blossom Kochhar College of Creative Arts & Design’ (BKCCAD) to come into existence was motivated by my passion for a scientific approach towards beauty education. I wanted to establish a college where aspiring students could learn beauty skills under trainers and become professionals.




*In the near-future… what do You ahead in life for?

I believe that beauty industry is ever evolving. So there is a huge necessity to keep pace with it and improve ourselves too. But we have to keep in mind that we should be as natural and close to organic things as we can so that we do not disrupt the balance of mother earth. Our environment has the potential to provide us with everything we need and thus we have to keep in mind about paying it back too. Thus with the concept of Green Salons, I think people can understand that we have an alternative way of living without hurting our surroundings. That is what I have been working on and is the future of the industry.
